Skulls are part of the fabric of the Aztec and Mexican Culture. Our history and religion makes it hard to ignore how life, death and mortality influence the path of mankind.
Skulls have sparked my imagination in ways that transcend art mediums, culture, popular media and religion. I have been drawing skulls for as long as I can remember, on paper, school books, canvas and for the past 20 years, tattoos.
In the early days of Instagram I started the #SkullyTuesday hashtag, artists from all over the world came together to draw skulls. Most recently I was experimenting with an artstyle while drawing a skull, once I added a body to it, I saw the Skullys.

This cultural icon brought joy, knowledge and creativity to everyone's homes for many years, enriching the lives of all who watched the master at work.
Watching this show gave people the courage to start their art career, take up the paintbrush, and create. Creativity is a superpower!

Those of us who followed this show in its many generations, our eyes were opened to the many possibilities of space travel, community and unity.
